The Golden Gate Bridge:
Drive across it, walk across it, bike across it, fly over it, under it and photograph it - this is the most beautiful bridge in the world. Stunning architecture.
Sausilito: Beautiful, quaint harbour style town north of the bay across the bridge. Although it is a tourist trap it is well worth visiting. Nice restaurants.
China Town: Do the walking tour! Excellent restaurants and architecture.
Twin Peaks: Excellent views across the city. Golden Gate Park: Tons to do here with Museums etc. Check out the Buffalo
Alcatraz: Excellent audio tours and a surprisingly good view.
Financial District: Go to One, Embarcadero Centre and the SkyDeck viewing platform at the top of the building.
